Bellberry Limited is a national, private not-for-profit organisation with the dual aims of protecting the welfare of human research participants and improving the quality, efficiency and effectiveness of research.
Bellberry was founded 20 years ago, initially focussed on providing specialist scientific and ethical review for research conducted in the private health sector. With growth in each year of operation, Bellberry is now the single largest reviewer of clinical research in Australia, providing specialist HREC oversight to at least 43% of Australia’s CTN registered trials. The Bellberry research portfolio includes both clinical research and behavioural and social sciences projects based across private, public, academic and government sectors.
Proceeds are reinvested in the research sector.
