Overview

The University of Newcastle is located in the Hunter New England and Central Coast Local Health Districts just north of Sydney, NSW. The University of Newcastle’s Knowledge Exchange and Enterprise (KEE) team supports researchers in translating their research outcomes to impact.

The KEE team focus on two main areas; business development and intellectual property commercialization in order to facilitate partnerships with industry to create impact for our regions and beyond. The KEE team supports the University and their Local Health Districts life science intellectual property portfolio.

Speak to the KEE about how to connect into the region to review their researcher portfolio, undertake pre-clinical and clinical trials or access their vast network of health and community stakeholders including the Hunter Medical Research Institute (HMRI) and John Hunter Hospital, where clinicians, community, industry and research collaborates producing ground life science breaking research, contract services and clinical trials to advance translation.
